Even if Threads were not to federate, itd take away nothing from #Fediverse apps. This is a different ecosystem. I haven’t experienced shitposting and doom scrolling in Fediverse in the last six years I am on here reguarly. Influx of people and servers have multiplied but the fundamental nature of serious conversations and good fun have not ahifted. Why are we even comparing this with low life corporate greed driven social media apps where eyeball tracking and doomscrolling are the mainstay?
