I was exagerating and meant no offence 😅
I've been on many work trips in north Germany and almost lived there part time for a year. The only shops I could always pay card was supermarkets, everywhere else kept making up excuses like "card machine broken", "wifi isn't working", "network is down" But I understand that it's actually more to do with German people preferring to transact in cash (which I support for privacy reasons) and not wanting to pay the card transaction fee (which I also support because I back independent traders wherever possible).
But if i'm wrong please tell me why I could never pay by card 😆
