Mike Tyson once said “Everyone has a plan until you get punched in the face.” In the world of shouting, the shoe-laces have landed an uppercut to your chin. As you see stars, you must think: when i have tried to take a step and someone, anyone, forbids it, what will I do instead?
In the first case, you had no idea, and so you fall to the ground, stunned.
In the second case, you told yourself, “If I fail to step, I shall stumble and try to step again”
And so you shout out, "World, as my step is forbidden I shall stumble.”
And the shoe-laces are silent.
When you yell to the world that you are stepping, anything else in the world may choose to listen. Your shoe laces hear that you are walking. The cat on the floor in the study might hear your footfalls and decide that one of them is on their tail, and they will let you know in no uncertain terms what your foot is then allowed to do.
