Censoring content which is labeled as "misinformation" is ill-advised.
Case in point: I made a post about one of the male boxers competing in the Women's Boxing category in the Olympics.
After much gnashing of teeth, that post was censored here on the Fediverse. The reason? "Misinformation". (See the screenshot.)
Then note this article which shows my post to be entirely accurate.

Never censor for "misinformation"... It backfires all too often.
