Season of monsters!
Every autumn we see an abundance of Araneus Diadematus (European garden spider or Cross orbweaver) in our garden. They’re there all summer, of course, but they get huge and visible in autumn.
During the hot dry years global warming has brought upon us, Argiope bruennichi (The wasp spider) somewhat took over, but it’s been cooler and wetter this year, and they’re not evident at all.
