I had a closer look at the actual voting in South Brisbane last night and I'll be surprised if the Greens don't retain it in the end
Currently Labor leads the LNP by 766 votes with around 68% counted and the Brisbane Early Voting Centre still to come
The 4th candidate is from One Nation and has 831 votes
Based on what's happening everywhere else I'd expect the LNP vote to continue to increase and the margin to Labor, who are currently running second, to shrink.
At the end of the count they will only likely need around half of the One Nation preferences to pass Labor
From there, Labor preferences should elect the Green.
Still not a great night for the Greens and not the result I was hoping for but would maintain that record of never losing a seat won at a general election (not including Hare Clark)
I do need to think they need to change strategy to a degree although Albanese definitely isn't Miles

p.s. those numbers are from memory
