To give you an idea how expensive my care is: The retail cost of the infusions is $65,000 a month. Medicare negotiates and pays about 15% of that. I absolutely know any private insurer would see me pop up on their "expensive" list and try to deny care. But...Medicare is not for profit so they just cover it. No denials, no complaints, no appeals...
