Yes, and as time goes on the incentive becomes greater in terms of Bitcoin. Both mobile devices (via baseband) and ISPs could be at risk of cybersecurity attacks. ISPs could theoretically be compromised internally, expanding attack surfaces significantly. Multisig seems to be the only was to mitigate these risks, especially on mobile for a spending wallet.
