Something a lot of people say to me when I talk about not realising I was "different" in various ways is, "how didn't you know?" I haven't really had an answer outside of "it was normal for me so I assumed it was normal for everyone else" until now!

I was at a class about framing. The speaker took time to explain how most people think reality interacts with our brains vs how it doesn't - and my main takeaway from that class was that most people don't know how our brains interact with reality.
