Good idea to highlight boosting with sidebar on the right. With lightning placed at the top of the sidebar and shaka on the bottom that differentiates a value (⚡️) endorsement from a gesture (🤙) endorsement. What if engagement was communicated with color instead of numbers? Lightning and Shaka icons morph from outline to solid purple to vibrant yellow after hitting thresholds (100,1000,10k) This would communicate a sufficient idea of endorsement and move away from a ranking/leaderboard mentality.
