Out of nowhere I've had a weird nostalgia moment for the Sound blaster Pro 16. Installed one of these in the family 386 back in the day, though I had to be sneaky about it as stepfather disapproved of using a PC for games, so I installed it when they were out and created a DOS directory called alt-255 that created a hard space and was mostly invisible to a dir command in which I put all my games.
Mostly Lemmings and Frontier Elite II.
