I've been thinking more and more about how a future society will be structured. So far, the most compelling aspect I've come across is something I call a "golden triangle" (haven't searched for this on the internet so don't it might have other names/be a shit idea). A golden triangle is a trifecta of technological advancements that reinforce each other and build on each other in time.

You could think of history like:
Fire-Language-Tools -> Agriculture-Writings-Mathematics -> Bronze-Trade-Architecture -> Iron-Currency-Law -> Gold-Navigation-Shipbuilding -> Coal-Steam-Rail -> Oil-Electricity-Manufacturing triangle

Each triangle enabled society to "leap" or bootstrap to the next triangle.

I think we're in the middle of the next triangle, something like Digital-Compute-Power or Bitcoin-AI-Power. This should bootstrap us to a global, cooperative society that can look towards the stars or look in our minds.

This idea isn't original, but I the historical context of these bootstrapping triangles gives me confidence that #bitcoin unlocks a the critical link between physical and digital, enabling a foundation for the next societal leap.
