Because no one can access this funds, unless you permit. No cops, no thief, no one, even your wife can’t if you want so. I live in a country with a lot of state control, and it is the only way to feel safe protecting my assets while protesting against the state (for exemple). I also have bank account with some funds to spend during the month but it is not 100% safe, always there is someone with more power over my funds than me, maybe a judge or someone else… that’s why I’m saying bitcoin is the only real private property. They can seize my car, my bank account whatever they want, but not my bitcoins :) but be aware that Bitcoin have others risks, like potential volatility…
