Thinking about how hedgerows could be used as a nice low profile way to fortify a homestead.
Think about having the House, garden, and animal barn behind a 12 foot parapet green with rose bushes. That would be a hell of a position to raid, especially if the defenders has cut firing positions that were invisible from the outside.
