In #StarTrek, I feel like the ferengi are really more similar to modern day capitalists than the federation is. It’s fun to look at the ferengi as strange and alien but in reality they are much less of an exaggeration of the good of humanity (like the federation is) and more a way of reframing how manipulative #capitalism is.
