Sweden's biggest political parties like to talk about "using the military" as a response to organised crime violence.

This means the only remaining opposition to this is ... the Swedish military. Which absolutely hates the idea. Partly because it is designed to fight external enemies, not perform police function and partly because the military is already being asked to do more than it is capable of, and doesn't appreciate being treated as some bottomless resource hole.
