Who on earth is claiming it would? That's a ridiculous premise. Humans being so diverse, will never agree on everything, ofc including something so comparatively unimportant as an OS. Afaik there's no Big Linux shadow group pulling global strings to make Linux the only OS. I can't imagine why you even made that OP.
