what if the circular economy were donation-based?
like, pay whatever YOU think it's worth.
honestly, for those of us Normies living at the bottom of it, your tips are probably more than we'd make if they paid us by the hour. for example, in nearby (gentrified af) Dominical, a plain black coffee with almond milk from a carton costs the equivalent of FIVE DOLLARS. which is, for many locals, about TWO HOURS worth of work. but for most foreigners on vacation, that's the best price they've seen in as long since before the pandemic...
(so pay whatever YOU think it's worth. I'd bet it's more than we'd have asked for.)
thennnnn we could start playing in the same stratosphere, you know what I mean?
it's shocking to see both sides of a gentrification in process, so clearly. I wanna help. make it friendlier, less corporate. you know, protect the "local" vibe. except less alcoholic. more creative.
except Bitcoiners all wanna gift
anonymously, which makes soliciting help for community projects harder, because neither side believes in the other. 🤣😂
and you wouldn't believe the number of boating accidents in this crowd. 🤔
if you want to build something fair and beautiful, go where the Eat Pray Love ladies are. and help us keep the joy-sucking capitalists out.
seriously.
anyone wanna sponsor my bumper sticker campaign?
I want to print stickers (in collaborating with local artists) about the qualities that make my small Costa Rican town great:
Bike-friendly Bahía
keep Bahía walkable
Emprendadores❤️Bahía
keep Bahía local
hecho con amor (Bahía)
and then GIVE THEM AWAY. to everyone. I wanna see our community's best qualities --even if they're just #goals-- on every water bottle. every car. every laptop.
#bitcoinjungle #thatbitcoinprojectinBahía
PS-- oops, sorry. highjacked your thread.
PPS-- oh no, wait. it was mine. shamelessly plugging my own ambitions seems legit then.
