Leftist arguments are always based on hypotheticals, "shoulds", and other undemonstrated premises. It's always "mights and maybes and coulds" if we lived in a world completely unlike this one.

"Wouldn't it be nice if reality wasn't like it is?" is the classic leftoid paradigm. The problem is, they then try to make policy based on that fantasy rather than on how the world actually is.

Arguments on the Right are based on known facts and observed patterns.
