Alley in Town. Direct Watercolor. 20"x16", 140lb Arches Rough.
Sometimes I come upon a scene and get intrigued and know there is something there but not quite sure what. And then I stop painting and step back and say, "Well, that's not a pretty barn. It's not a nice storefront." What it is, I still can't pinpoint. It's a curious thing.
