The attitude of the DWP now reflects the Tory view that anyone unemployed is lazy and doesn’t want to work, and so they should be punished. Similarly, the immigration *service* became “Border Force”, and the culture was changed to encourage a hostile environment for anyone seeking asylum. It’s going to take a decade to fix all this. We should never forgive the Tories for what they have done.
