Depends on how you are wanting to use Citrine. For the most part it is simple. Just copy the local IP address from the app into the Local Relay option in Amethyst and you're off to the races.
Citrine can also import your notes from other relays, if you want to keep a local backup of all your notes. Use the "Download your events" option to do this. It may take a while to finish, depending on how many notes you have out in the Nostrverse.
You can keep a backup of your notes on a periodic basis. Use the "Export database" option and select a folder to store the backup. You can import your notes from this backup, too, using the "Import database" option. This can be especially handy if your follow list gets wiped and you need to restore it. Pull in a previous copy of it with your backup and you can use the "Restore follows" option to broadcast your previous follow list back out to your relays.
There are some more advanced things you can do with Citrine as well. For instance, you can use it with Amber to do NIP-46 "bunker" signing locally on your phone, rather than having to set up a bunker on a server. You can also pair Citrine with Orbot to have a Tor-only outbox or DM inbox relay. Heck, I bet you could use it for Nostr Wallet Connect, if the wallet you are using supports setting a custom relay for the connection string.
