I worked in a day camp for disabled kids as a teen and have subbed at one of the special ed (for severely disabled) schools. Kids that will never become productive adults, no matter what fluffy ads may say. Their parents will never stop being their carers and worry about who will take care of them when the parents can't anymore.
I don't know that I would have had it in me to have an abortion back when I had my kid (almost 30 years ago), but I'm certainly not going to judge any woman who does. And let's be honest, the fathers aren't usually the ones doing the bulk of the work with these children.
