Is it the norm these days for a small college #library not to allow unaffiliated visitors? Maybe I’m old, but I remember when anyone could enter a college library and read, but you had to be a student or faculty member to check out books. Is this policy a consequence of COVID? Or a security concern? I’ve encountered it twice now, and I find it strange and unfriendly. #AcademicLibraries
