I can't seem to find English-language coverage of this just yet, but another AfD politician was in the news last week due to a motion that criticises Bauhaus as an ‘Irrweg der Moderne’, an aberration of modernity.

Which of course is unsurprising to anyone who has been paying attention to far-right movements past and present, as it is the same sort of ‘we have strayed from the old’ narrative that all regressive, white supremacist movements follow, from the Third Reich to today's MAGA.
