Children thrive on routine and there's nothing routine about Christmas.
They have some of the least autonomy in holiday plans and effectively are being carted from one thing to the next and it's unfair to expect them not to have some kind of meltdown.

Be compassionate and patient. It's #Christmas and it doesn't need to be that stressful. Give them breaks, and try to be understanding.
