I find it so impossible to imagine waiting until the very last minute (blocking changes, AI, elon musk becoming part of the fascist government) to abandon twitter when it was so painfully clear 2 years ago this is where things were headed
I knew it then and it sent me into a proactive panic so that 2 years later, now, when shit really hit the fan, I was already comfortably situated and perfectly safe from the fallout
But I guess I'm not like most people. I have a very difficult time sticking my head in the sand and going "this is fine" (see also: covid, leaving the US in 2022)
