In the last few months I've gotten hooked on the zen workflow that is the vanilla #GNOME experience. The problem is that most GNOME-based distros are either too old for my hardware or too bleeding edge to be stable.
I think I found the solution: #LinuxMint Edge and installing the vanilla-gnome-desktop package. New hardware support, stable, and I can switch back to Cinnamon if I somehow get tired of it.
