It’s hit 92°F (33°C) and I’ve had to stop working. I found myself taking dangerous, stupid shortcuts, unable to think clearly. Now I have a powerful headache and a thirst to match. On the plus side, I have the plywood up, which will keep the snakes out, and can serve as the roof for a while.

I hope to put down the felt underlayment tonight. I’d hoped to add drip edging and the metal roofing, to finish up today, but it’s slow going solo in the heat.
