I never cease to be amazed at how much of our past has been rewritten, falsified and distorted by the victors of every epoch.
Especially in the monetary, political and religious spheres.
From the dawn of times to the present, history is continuously rewritten for the benefit of the power that currently be.
Each generation of men proudly mocks the old lies in which the previous one lived, without realizing that is too a victim of new deceptions, hoaxes and illusions in a never ending cycle.
Make no mistake: on these falsehoods both great and terrible things are accomplished. Whole civilizations prospers and thrive.
I'm not here to judge the beauty of the Sistine Chapel, the sublime geometry of the Forbidden City or the greatness of Manhattan's skyline.
But lies are everywhere.
