A lot of people, not least #Mastodon admins have taken a position that federation with #Threads is a good, and have invested in that position despite opposition from their own users.

I wonder how hard it will be, how much evidence of #Meta=bad, it will take for them to change their stance.

We know #Meta are bad of course which is why the position "let's wait and see" was ridiculous in the first place.

But there remain many who don't understand why the #fediverse came about.
