"ambitious set of measures for ending gender-based violence against women" -- why is this framed as "against women"? The mentioned forms of violence also affect other genders. In fact, research consistently shows that males are exposed to violence at a higher rate than women. Which in turn 'generates' more male perpetrators. I support the general direction, but this framing is in itself unfortunate and unnecessary gender-based discrimination.
