The happy ending to this doctor appointment is that he did not know that and he would read the document.
This is information that has been known by patients *for years*
Now that there is an official document (from the Mayo Clinic Proceedings) that says this then, thankfully, more doctors will listen to us now.
Sadly, there are still some doctors who won't.
