I love walking through the forest and seeing its many layers, the richness of greenery, the many sizes and types of plant growth.

And that includes snags, the old, dead trees that some would say are past their time. And though they may be past their prime, they have a place, if only as a reminder to us of the importance of standing tall despite what others think.
