In agreement on the everlasting nature of souls, and a new heavens and new earth.

We diverge on the contextual application for Rev. 13. It had specific application for the first century generation of hearers/readers who were being put out of the synogog by the Jewish leaders at the time for following Christ. See also Romans 14 where Paul is addressing Jews who had been ostracized from the Jewish marketplace. The same generation that Jesus is addressing when he says "this generation will not pass away until all these things take place." Meaning the end of the spiritual power structures of the old world. Christ ushered in His kingdom at his coming but there was a time of overlap with the old world. This ended in AD 70 at the final destruction of the temple. This the future event being referred to in Rev. 13 and by Jesus in Mat. 24.

Now I would agree that there are beastly systems today, and there is definitely a push to eliminate financial choice, sovereignty, and privacy. But the attempt to control people via money is as old as man. Fiat and debt based economies are immoral and beastly and have been around for awhile. Nothing unique to our time.

I see bitcoin as a timely, God-given tool to be wisely and shrewdly stewarded. And even if the tyrants succeed in implementing their plans for a time, Christ will continue to preserve His people, the little kingdoms of lesser men will fall, Christ's kingdom will continue to advance and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.
