All of those things are to your exclusive benefit, other than a parallel society which may be to your exclusive benefit as well, depending on what you are doing in it.
Basically, you are going to "survive" and be selfish while doing so for the most part, and refuse to incorporate under anything that might be "bigger than" just your own benefit. Likewise, you aren't going to fight that system because well, you might not get the same perks if you do, right?
