If most clients depend on a single centralized server to control their stuff these users will be automatically excluded from anything that is banned by that server or anything that just exists in relays outside the grip of that server. This feels like a total failure to me.
But my point was more that -- even if these central servers work super well at first, they dont scale and their costs will skyrocket we will end up with a super centralized network.
