Since people asked for an explanation as to why I think litecoin is weird— I think it’s just the continued and unnecessary existence of a lesser, redundant bitcoin-like chain. Whereas bcash and all the other forks are clearly toast and forgotten, litecoin continues on like a zombie, somehow, despite not having a use case beyond serving as a test net for bitcoin. It’s like having a mutated clone of yourself living somewhere in the same city, always there, kind of watching you and wanting to be you. It’s the mirror match in street fighter where the colors of the clothing on your opponent aren’t quite right. It’s bizarro Superman’s dead stare. It’s essentially the embodiment of the uncanny valley of bitcoin. Creepy and weird.
