With 3, the fact that you're given the bow so early, plus the mission immediately afterwards, forces you to adopt stealth strategies, whereas I felt that 1 and 2 gave you more freedom to choose any play style without some annoying side character giving you lip for going STEALTH OPTIONAL. 3 should've been done without a romance side-plot.
