what's wrong with setting physical switches, store those bytes and after a very short hour you have your basic interpreter typed in and can start inputting your code from paper.

Todays devs with all their ansible, complex pipelines and mental health are just lazy and detached and lack the extreme hazing and alcoholism used back in the good old days.
