I emailed the mine society and was told they've consulted police for advice about him. So they've had run-ins with this bloke before. Has a history of mental illness. Police Advice is to ring 999. Who knew. Hopefully not while I'm being dangled over an open mineshaft.
It would have been nice to have had a heads up about a potential situation before today. I am not getting paid to be here.
