I am delighted to see this study that reports that of all the EV batteries produced since 2011, only 1.5 percent have failed. In that time, the average US car owner will have driven 175,000 miles.
That is truly impressive longevity compared to gasoline cars, which need a lot more maintenance from the day you drive them home, and start to cost money after 8 or so years and 100k miles.
I am starting to get really excited about getting an EV for my next car.
