Hoo boy, this is silly. Quit being so sensitive, goofball.

I was saying it was based for Luther to follow, y'know, the Bible. After all, not all oaths being broken, even if devotional in nature, is sinning. Read what the Mosaic Law has to say about young women making hasty oaths and how their fathers/husbands can nullify that - thereby breaking it.

Don't point fingers when it comes to snide anything. You've been going around telling everyone that the Reformation equals tranny bishops because Luther was just a coomer. I'm responding to your garbage polemics in kind.

As for St. Paul, his concession per the text is because he wishes all would be like him. Thus he says, in a word, "if a then do b." That's not reductionist, that's just good hermeneutics. St. Paul is making a concession rather than a command because otherwise he would be commanding people to marry, and that would be inconsistent with the spiritual gifts of celibacy.
