18 years as a dad wow.
Watching my daughter grow into (almost) adulthood has been wild. She’s still at home, and I love having her here, but I know it won’t be long before she flies out and starts her own journey. Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about my kids. My little one too. About their future. About this messy world we’re in.
Europe feels heavy these days. Governments are crumbling, politics is a circus, and everything feels so polarized. Right, left, everyone just digging deeper into their corners. Meanwhile, I’m here in the middle, watching it all fall apart, knowing politics won’t fix anything anymore.
But then there’s Bitcoin. And Nostr. These things give me hope. Real tools for real change. I’ve even been orange-pilling my daughter’s friends and you know what? Teenagers get it. Fast. They don’t have all the old baggage; they just look at the world for what it is. Explaining why fiat is broken and why we need decentralized money and networks like Nostr is almost too easy with them. It’s inspiring.
And it reminds me, change won’t come from governments or institutions. It’ll come from the people. From this next generation that’s stepping into the chaos and ready to build something better. Step by step, block by block, zap by zap.
