there is a horrifying lack of easily accessible automation, and the tools used are incredibly expensive and - for their price - absolutely atrocious.
the fact you like doing it this way is incredibly masochistic lol
mind you, WSL is really still in beta, you may want to keep watchdog timers going for this kinda thing, but I couldn't even begin to tell you how to do this in powershell lol
