𝓘𝓽 𝓷𝓮𝓿𝓮𝓻 𝓯𝓮𝓵𝓵 𝓲𝓷𝓽𝓸 𝓹𝓵𝓪𝓬𝓮 𝓽𝓾𝓻𝓷𝓲𝓷𝓰 30…
I have always been a worrier and that’s not a typo of warrior,
Ever since I was little I would always worry the outcome of what people’s perception of me was, what I wore, what the result of my actions would be and how people would feel if I told them no.
The best and most rewarding thing you can do for yourself is learn how to say no, with zero consequence.
No is a full sentence.
You don’t need to explain why and that’s the beauty of it.
It’s so bloody empowering.
I have learnt the hard way that you can strive for perfection and never really get there as something will come and bulldoze your expectations and bring you back to reality.
Go easy on yourself, whatever you did yesterday, today or tomorrow let it be enough. You certainly don’t have to have it all together.
You’re taught at school that by 30 you should probably have the house of your dreams, be married to your person and have started a family.
If you have or haven’t then congratulations you’re doing great.
You might have thought “oh I did have my person but they hurt me”, let me let you know that means they were never really your person.
It’s ok to over think, feel and wonder the what ifs but take the time to just be content with how far you’ve come.
All the times you didn’t think you’d make it but you did, you might be struggling right now but you’re here, breathing, sat still for a moment, reading this.
All those times when you wasn’t sure how you’d get through it but you did and you are.
I think everyone is going through it.
Don’t ever deny your struggles, it’s ok to be vulnerable and it’s ok to ask for help.
No wishing just doing,
Mistakes are made,
They aren’t forever
And be proud of how far you’ve come already.
