Super unhappy with this Thinkpad x280 I got recently. I have reset its PMU, and it still enables battery charging thresholds out of nowhere, while it refuses to work with some usb-c chargers that other laptops work fine with. Apparently, the problem is common online too.
For me, the best hardware by far has been Apple hardware. I can't stand their software, their rules, and their institutionalized secrecy, but their hardware is untouchable.
