1. You've missed the point entirely. How do I do this *as an ISV*? Linux does not have a notion of "the user's calendar". There's no way this capability _could_ be provided.
2. Again, not really getting the point. The question is "as an ISV". Your employer's bad MDM setup isn't necessarily an indictment of the platform.
