Depends upon the tech you use. While O-leds can provide better brightness and color, particularly the reds are deeper and richer, they don't last. Organic leds

I've had a giant rear-screen projector TV that lasted about 12 years, and actually it never died, it just wasn't capable of 4k so I initially bought an Android LCD tv,
the backscreen light died after about a month, that was a Samsung and was 1080p. So I took it back and bought a LG 4K TV. It provides a pretty good RED, not as good as an Oled but reasonable, excellent brightness, viewable from any angle which is not real common with LCD but this one does extremely good, and very good blacks (also not common with LCD). It is 55' which is adequate for the relatively small room that it is in. I've been using it for about five years so far. It has no microphone or camera so my tv can't spy on me the way many do.
