I'm sure Hindus have visions of Krishna or whatever, you are steeped in a culture and it permeates your subconscious and can change what you perceive.
Like, I'm sure a goat farmer in Nepal wouldn't report a vision of the Virgin Mary, it always happens in Christian countries.
